What if my flower is bent?


Your flower is pretty strong so bending is unlikely to happen. However, during shipping or another event, leaves or petals can be bent. Feel free to shape a leaf or a pedal back into its original form by simply using your hand or a pair of pliers with a rubber covering on the teeth. Using metal pliers on your metal flower can scratch the patina.




What if my flower gets scratched?


  1. Gently clean the area with a soft cloth and water.
  2. Allow to dry.
  3. Once dry, apply a clearcoat as described by the directions on the can. (Clearcoat can be purchased at a local, big chain retailer.)
  4. Keep the flower indoors until the clearcoat is dry and is exposed to the elements. It does usually take 24 hours for the clear coat to dry.
  5. Then feel free to leave outdoors.
  6. Enjoy!




What can I do to take care of my flower to last longer?


Nothing will last forever especially when exposed to the elements, particularly salt water. However, your flower can last for years outside just as it is. If you want to keep it in good shape or want to spruce it up a bit, add a few layers of clear coat. Clearcoat can be purchased at a local, big chain retailer. To apply clear coat,

Can I clean this to protect from COVID-19?


Yes, feel free to spray your flower with any household cleaner and wipe with a soft cloth. You can also clean your flower with soap and water using a soft cloth.




How can I clean my flower in general?


You can also clean your flower with soap and water using a soft cloth. Finally, let your flower dry completely. Your flower should not soak in water as water can cause rust on your flower with prolonged exposure. However, your flower will be fine if it is exposed to rain or snow in the outdoors. Think of it like a car. A car is fine in the elements but if you put a car at the bottom of a lake, it will deteriorate quickly.




How do I remove rust?


Rust can happen to anything metal, unfortunately. If you happen to get rust on your flower, here are the directions to remove it. Beware! If there is rust on the patina, vinegar can remove the patina.

  1. Remove excessive debris with a soft cloth and water.
  2. Stick the infected area into a solution of half vinegar and half water.
  3. Allow to soak overnight.
  4. If rust has not been removed, add more vinegar to the solution and allow to soak a couple more hours.
  5. As soon as you remove from the vinegar dry and apply a few layers of clear coat.
  6. Once dry, apply a clearcoat as described by the directions on the can. (Clearcoat can be purchased at a loca,l big chain retailer.)

What size are the flowers?
